Starting this week we will taking team photographs(!).

The following teams playing at the Wave Twin Rinks / Stone Ridge Ice Centre this Friday (Feb 1) will have their pictures taken.

ARL Winter Classic 2018

Hello everyone,

The Winter Classic returns again this February, hosted by the great Greg Rollins.

The tournament takes place on Feb 3rd from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM and features a 4 v 4 format hosted outside at the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre Covered Rink.

Registration is open now and spots are filling up! This event is open to players of all skill level, regardless if you play in the ARL, as are all of our tournaments.

Announcing the ARL Boxing Day Tournament 2017

Good day everyone,

We have been able to secure some ice time for our annual Boxing Day Tournament. It will be held on Tuesday December 26th at Wave Twin Rinks from 7 pm through midnight.

There will be a guarantee of four games. We are looking for four teams of 15 players and 1 goalie. Positions will be held on a first come first served basis. Bruce has been kind and brave enough to take on this hefty project. He is confident there will be 60 plus ARL players and friends to occupy the rosters spots and create a fun event for many. The price will be $65 per person.

Deadline for registering will be Tuesday December 19th. Teams will be built immediately up to and following the deadline and captains and players will be notified as soon as possible once everything is done.

Championship Night Summer 2017

Hello ARL Players,

As the Spring/Summer 2017 season comes to a conclusion we want to invite you to share in the Championship Night festivities on Friday August 25th.

Please come up to Pub 21 following your game and enjoy some food and drink with your teammates and other ARL players. The five division champion teams will be rewarded with a Pub 21 gift certificate courtesy of The Wave and the ARL Committee.

We are working on a prize table for a raffle and a 50/50 draw. If you have anything to donate to the prize table it would be very much appreciated. Please let me know.

As always we will donate all dollars raised from this evening to a local charity. We will let you know when we determine a beneficiary.

We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Please enjoy your last couple of games and as always keep the ARL spirit in mind while playing.

Spring Blast Tournament – 2017

Announcing the ARL Spring Blast Marathon Tournament for 2017!

The Spring Blast features a night of 4 games of back-to-back hockey action.

The Spring Blast tournament is the perfect chance for new players to come out and see what our league is all about!

The tournament is open to anyone 21 years of age or older; Male or Female, Beginner or Veteran. You don’t need to be in our league, and you don’t need any experience.

Sign-ups are now open on the registration page. Come out and have a (spring) Blast!

ARL SUMMER BLAST UPDATE

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Summer Blast Tournament on Friday night. There were several close games and in the end Hayden Buchanan’s White team prevailed in a dramatic 4-3 shoot out victory in the final game. For their effort they all received a genuine ARL t-shirt…Yes a t-shirt and PRIDE.

Summer Blast Featured

Summer Blast Tournament

The ARL Summer Blast tournament is back! This tournament kicks off the Fall/Winter Season and is the perfect way to end summer.

Registration is now open for the 4 game back-to-back tournament happening Friday, August 26th. The Summer Blast is perfect for players who are curious about the ARL and want to take it for a test drive. The same ARL rules and gameplay style apply; Co-Ed, Non-Aggressive, and all around fun hockey! There are only 4 teams so space is limited. Register soon to secure your spot!
