August Already!

Wow...hard to believe our summer season has nearly come to an end.  Congratulations to all for making the ARL such a success.  We have appreciated the encouragement, input and patience from players, captains and goalies. It has helped us make some important decisions.  We hope you have had a great time this summer but we will ask for some feedback before the winter season begins.  And speaking of winter....  a couple of things. 

You will see on the website that the league is full with 10 teams.  We are happy to announce that we have secured more ice time so we are now adding two more teams.  Please still encourage anyone you think may want to play to put their name on the wait list.  We are also hoping to have coaches for each team in the winter.  These coaches don't have to be Ex-NHLers or anything even close.  Just someone who can help the team with ice time, doors and some organizing.  So ask your friends!  You'd be surprised who might be interested.

At this time, we have room for two more sponsors.  It's a great opportunity for some advertising and fun to see your company name on the back of those shirts! Anyone interested, please talk to Scot or I for details.

Our tournament weekend is going to be a hockey addict’s dream-come-true!  Lots and lots of games!   Believe me, you will all love it!  Then, hopefully, everyone can hang around upstairs Saturday night for some end-of season socializing.  And, of course, the ARL awards!  Check the website to vote for your favourite potential award winners!

Teams will be posted on the website in early September. We have some plans for pre-winter skills and exhibitison games but that will all be posted after the tournament. Just keep an eye on the website and your email.
