Halfway News!

The ARL is now halfway through our first season!  It's been a great time so far.  A few minor wrinkles have been ironed out and probably a few more to come!  We appreciate your feedback in all of these issues.  It's so helpful to get some idea of how the players and captains are feeling about things. 

One great suggestion we have received is having a coach for each team.  This would help with team organization and help even-out ice time during the games.  So... if anyone has a friend or family-member that might be interested in becoming an ARL coach, either this season or in the fall, please let us know. 

We are still making some revisions to our new rule... hotdogging.  Captains are gathering team input and we will keep you updated with the results.  Please be patient with the refs in the meantime. They are really nice guys who have been very enthusiastic and helpful in pulling these rules together for us. 

Our first skills session is almost finished.  We have offered another skills package beginning July 14.  The instructors have been awesome.  We couldn't have asked for any better. What a great learning experience! Hopefully, we will do one more package before the winter league begins.

And as for winter, we have very few spots left to fill for the winter league and it's only June!  If you're interested or know of anyone interested, we encourage you to sign up soon.
