League now full!

Hello to All Our ARL Players

Our League is now full.  Welcome and thanks to all who have joined.  We are ready to get started!  The team rosters are now posted on the web site and the schedule will appear very soon with our first official game being May 2nd.

We have 4 hours of ice time booked for our pre-season skate and we will be doing this 2 teams per hour.  You will be notified shortly which hour will be for your team.  This will be a warm up hour with a couple of refs there to help us out with rules and run some basic drills.  Then we'll play some shinny. It will be great to get to meet you all and have some fun. 

We plan on having a team captain for each team.  The captains will be meeting with us once a month to go over any issues that may arise or just let us know that all things are going well and the league is as great as we knew it would be! If you have any complaints, problems, suggestions etc.  please feel free to bring these to your team captain or directly to Scot or I. Keep in mind this is our first season so patience is appreciated.  Your team captains will be getting in touch with you shortly.

Thanks to all that came out to the Good Friday shinny!  Hope you all had as much fun as I did.  Plans are in the works to do a couple more of those shinnies the first two Friday evenings in April.  I will send out Emails to see who is interested once the ice time is confirmed.

The ARL is a Non-Profit league and at some point during the year, we are planning on raising some funds for a community charity.  Ideas are just being put together for this but I'm sure we'll come up with something suitable that we will all enjoy doing.
