Burlington Co-ed Adult Rookie Hockey

July 24, 2010 -- Our regular summer season is now complete.  This means that we will soon be heading into playoffs.  The playoff schedule is posted on the website so please be sure to check it out!  We have, once again, split our beginner division in two for the play off games.  Just a quick reminder that the league is still all about fun, even though it is playoff season.  Let's not let it get too intense!

This Friday is our ARL FUN NIGHT.  The games do not count for stats or standings so let's all be creative.  Think of some ways to switch things up a bit this week. I'm sure your captains and team mates would appreciate any suggestions you might have.  Thanks to everyone for a great summer season so far! 

Special Congratulations go to TEAM WILLOW in the beginner division and TEAM HEALTH FORCE in the Rookie division for placing VERY LAST overall in the summer season :)  If there were awards handed out for team spirit, these teams would be winners hands down!

Rookie of the week! Shannon Bentley Even though Shannon is usually found in the penalty box, last night she led her Expedites to a 4-2 victory over Team HealthForce. She scored a penalty shot and picked up a couple assists. Happy Birthday Shannon! Season Kick-off Tournament September 3&4, 2010 Although Fall seems like a long way away, please register early for our Fall Season Kick-Off Tournament. It is filling up quickly and we only have space for 6 teams. OK these guys have now added prizes like autographed leaf jerseys and tickets to games to this event...
