PLEASE NOTE -- At Appleby, DO NOT go onto the ice before the zamboni doors close...

At Appleby, the operations staff is quite strict about this and will even refuse to let us play a game if a skate touches the ice before their doors are closed. We will let our refs know the strictness of Appleby as well so they can help us. Don't throw pucks out onto the ice before the zamboni has finished. The Wave is a bit more flexible but they don't want players shooting pucks around while they are finishing their job - wait till the doors close - thanks

Rule Change
April 21, 2012 - No Diving - defined as deliberately leaving your feet during the play. When a player intentionally leaves their feet to block shots on defense or when they dive in order to try to stop a break-away, that player will be assessed a minor penalty.

We have always asked our player not to dive to block shots in the interest of safety to other players. In the recent seasons we noticed an increase in this type of play and at our Captains meeting this week it was agreed to make this a penalty.

Schedule Change
April 30, 2012 - 2 games moved from Saturday back to Friday -- we have had to make a change in our schedule affecting two games that were originally scheduled for Saturday June 30. Those will now be EARLY games on Friday the 29th. This affects Bruins/Shooters and Raiders/Crush only... see schedule .
